Airbrush problem
Posted by Leaadas on Monday, November 19, 2007 8:42 PM
I have a badger 100lg and after some painting this weekend I get the same pressure out of the airbrush regardless of what pressure is selected on my compressor. I also noticed that I am getting bubbles in the paint cup. I am not sure what is wrong, I have tried cleaning it and taken most the tip off to see if its clogged. It doesn't seem to be. Anyone have any suggestions?

Sounds like a serious clog. Unscrew the air assembly and remove (there's an O ring that can be damaged) and soak in lacquer thinner for an hour or so. Rinse well, replace everything and try it again.

So long folks!

*edit* Nevermind I figured it out. I changed out to my medium tip/nozzle that I got when I bought it, thanks guys for recommending to everyone when they buy one they buy extra parts, and now I am getting correct pressure. Looks like I have a bad clog in my fine nozzle need to get that cleaned out.
