Want to squeeze the last "gasp of air" from a canned airbrush propellant container?
If you are like me, as the prices continue to rise, you just hate throwing away any consumable hobby supply until you get the absolute most out of it.
Well, I had a couple of used cans of Testors airbrush propellant (I prefer to use them for later touch-up's and the occasional outdoors spray-job when the compressor/chord arangement can be cumbersome) and rather then throwing them away with the few remaining ounces of propellant, I remembered an old air-conditioning technique trick for getting the most out of a container of Freon. I simply got an adequately sized bowl and filled it with hot water and placed the can's bottom in it.
This causes the liquid gas at the can's bottom to gassify more rapidly and using this technique, each can gave me quite a few minutes of operation until they were completely used up.
I hope you-alll find this tip helpful.
