I have put the base color on the cockpit interior of my Spitfire Mark II.

 

Should I lay doen a coat of Future before I weater it?

If you're going to weather using washes, Yes.  If you're only going to dry brush or use pastels, No.

Some people make a wash without using Future. Swanny uses this technique to build his kits and they always turn out super!

I have acctually found that wash's work for me better before future. Make sure you use acrylic wash's over enamel and dont go too banzi with them try and keep them localized where you would like the wash to be and you should be fine

It is only the intellect that keeps me sane; perhaps this makes me overvalue intellect against feeling

Future makes it easy to remove excess 'wash', be it oil or water based.

Great if you're like me and prone to the odd cock up.
