removing lint from a clear coat
Posted by Lance on Tuesday, January 8, 2008 9:49 AM

I was planning on removing the lint by rubbing it out with some Tamiya super fine polishing compound. It's an enamel gloss top coat.

Or would I be better off wet sanding it?

BTW, it's the third coat of clear that got some lint in it. So I'm not too worried about rubbing through the clear coat.

Thanks.

I'd wetsand first, then use the polishing compound to regain the shine. Should work out good!
