Should I stock up??
Posted by bostonbruins34 on Sunday, February 10, 2008 10:32 AM

I found a bunch of 1 oz bottles of the House of Kolor/Kustom Kolors on clearance at Walmart. Every crazy color you could think of including a bunch of pearl flip/flop paints. They are only $1 a bottle. Should I go crazy and buy a ton of them?? There are about 30-40 bottles left and I bought 20 yestersay...I also saw some 4 oz spray cans. I'm going to investigate but I think they are $3.

I'm not really a flip flop paint guy but I was thinking it would look good on a converted P-51 into a raceplane??? Let me know what you think. I have a few 1/72 scale Mustangs around here somewhere!!!

Ask yourself this...are you going to use it before it dries up? Can you afford to throw away that $20 or what ever you end up spending? Is it worth filling valuable space in the workshop stash for something you'll never use...need?

Very good point!!! See? That is why I ask dumb questions...My brain only works half the time...The other half of the time it's replaying Three Stooges and Foghorn Leghorn episodes!!!

I talked to a guy that wants to do a swap of things. I understand selling and trading and such aren't allowed on this forum. It's from a different forum.  He does a lot of cars and custom motorcycles and I'm more a military guy so we are working a few things out. I am interested in trying out the flip flop on a guitar body I'm refinishing...I'm sure I'll need more than a few 1 oz. bottles for that!
