Acrylics require a sensitive flow-on technique for hand-brushing. Ordinarily they don't have to be thinned, and in fact a flow improver, which slows drying and lets the paint self-level, may help avoid brush marks. The quick drying times of most acrylics mean that paint may begin to dry on the brush, and this is a sure route to brush marks.

I agree, depending on what you are painting i would suggest the following. if it is a wide area, use a wide soft brush, make sure that the brush is 150% claen, any color left in the brush fr the previous color will normally come out at the worst moment. second thing, keep all the brush strokes the same way, third thing, use as few strokes as possiable that will help with the smoothness. hope this helps, and good luck, great results are possiable with alot of patence!!
