There are several brands of liquid mask out.  Your results may vary depending on just how "tiny" the shapes are you'd like to mask.

I know that Ambroid makes a liquid mask, and so does Micro Mark.  I've used Winsor & Newton's masking fluid with great results.  Not sure about the first 2, but the W & N is basically latex thinned with (I think) a little ammonia.  It cerainly has that ammonia smell to it.  It dries quickly and I haven't had any difficulty peeling it off after using it.

I find your lack of faith disturbing. . .

Liquid masking

I remember hearing somewhere about a liquid type mask. Is there such a thing?

I want to mask around some tiny complex shaped items and this sounds like it could make the job easier.
