If it's a figure, you'll be wanting brush-paintable paints, which mean not Tamiya acrylics. To be honest, any light brown/ desert yellow and olive green would do. I like Citadel acrylics - try their Desert Yellow and Camo Green.

Cheers,

Chris.

I agree 200% Tamiya paints have a bad track record with me in figure painting. If you are insisting on acrylics go with Vallejo, Andrea, Polly Scale, or Testors MM in addition to  the Citadel. Another suggestion is trying the local craft store and checking out acrylic craft paints. Far less expensive and quite a large line to choose from.

MM1591 is Olive Green RAL6003/ FS3410. MM1533 is a light yellowish-brown, with no given FS or RAL equivalent. To my eye, the nearest single-colour matches in the Tamiya acrylic range are XF5 and XF60 respctively.

What is the subject of your model, Tankluver? It's often easier - and more accurate -  to match colours in a specific range to the actual colours used in the original, rather than to kit colour call-outs.

Cheers,

Chris.
