Krylon X-Metals

I just picked up an Aoshima D1 Grand Prix S15 Silvia 2004.Rd5 ($15 at Hobby Lobby on sale.  What the heck.  Never did one of these, so I thought I'd give it a shot.)  Anyway, the paint scheme on the box looks like a metallic green, so I picked up some of the Krylon X-Metal stuff (Primer and Paint required for plastic).  I was just wondering if anyone had used this stuff before?  The primer goes on like a dream (and it seems like it would make a great substitute for large areas that require a dull, silver finish.)  Was just looking for some opinions on this stuff.  It is a little pricey at about $5 a can, but it may just do the trick.  Any thoughts?
