Short reply - no.  You need atmospheric pressure for it to gravity feed properly.  Otherwise a vacuum will form and it will not drain.  That's why the gravity feed caps have holes in them.

I doubt it will work. First, the cap threads are not leak proof. You'd have a dripping mess. Plus, the tiny hole is for air circulation to keep the paint fed into the airbrush. If you block it, the paint won't siphon.

Hi guys

 Sometimes I like to mix paint in the cup directly while spraying, like adding a few drops of white paint to make it lighter while I spray skintone from dark to light. It's impossible to do with a siphon feed, and badger360's gravity cup is too small. I was wondering can I rotate the siphon bottle to gravity position, cut off the straw, seal the tiny hole on the bottle cap, and use that as a gravity feed? Has anyone tried that?
