For the last year and a half, I've been using a #2 Kolinski sable with a fine point for most of the work on my 54mm figures. These are a bit expensive, but I can go from an eyeball to a shirt with the same brush. It holds a very fime point. I had beenising up to 20/0 but they tended to splay out. I use Vallejo and Andrea acrylics almost exclussively.

Remember, if the women don't find you handsome, they should at least find you handy.

You can use any size you like and what works best for you.  My favorite all purpose brush is a 000.  Don't skimp on brushes.  Buy good ones ($$) and take care of them.  Although a little pricey at the outset, a good quality brush well maintained will pay for itself with years of use.
