I'm not sure why the article would have mentioned dunkelgelb in relation to painting the tracks, as dunkelgelb ("dunkel" = dark, "gelb" = yellow - literally "dark yellow") is a base camouflage color used on German armor. It's the sandy base color over which red brown and/or olive green camouflage is applied.
A version of dunkelgelb is available from almost every major model paint manufacturer. Just don't ask which one is the most accurate - lol. ![Clown [:o)]](/emoticons/icon_smile_clown.gif)
