Airbrush way to go - practice practice
Posted by Anonymous on Monday, November 3, 2003 10:49 AM
The last time I used a hobby airbrush (8 years ago or so) I used an aztek and I gave up with the look and the cleanup. This time I set myself up right - Paache 18"x24" spray booth with 3 flourecent lights and I covered 40% of the face with clear wrap to increase the draft.

An Iwata Eclipse BS double action airbursh and the Iwata PowerJet compressor - well I have to say the first go around on Sunday was a pleasure. I built a Tamiya panther to practice my airbrushing. I am using Acrylics - testors I think - I will be using Tamiya Acrylics once I find them at another hobby store

I actually painted the model three times - once all tan, then all brown, and finally all olive drab. As I said a practice tank. My next Panther I will build and keep in three sections.
