I asked here for advice on a AB for a novice for AFV`s etc.

The advice was a Badger 100LG medium tip.I looked it up and it looks great and a good price to start with.

I would like to buy from a shop so i can get spares and help etc.But the art shops do not not stock Badger only Iwata. What is the equivelent to the 100LG.The guy in the shop said he can not comment on badger has he knows nothing of them but recommended a AB twice the price!

What would be the Iwata i need please.

Why would you need spares?

Buy a Badger 100LG and order a couple extra tips and needles and you are set.

If you need help ask here as many of us know a lot more about airbrushes than the salesman down the street. Smile,Wink, & Grin [swg]

If you must have an Iwata for local parts then I agree with what Gerald said and an Iwata HP-CS would be the equivelent.

Dixie is probably one of the best. I'm not sure if they ship to the UK, but you should be able to find that out.

If you have difficulty getting items shipped to you let me know, we can work out something I ship to the UK frequently.

Many thanks. i am about to have a look at Dixie.

Hi XLNT,

Badger is having a garage sale here. Looks like they are sold out of the 100LG, but they have other 100 models for sale at very, very good prices.

I picked up a 200SG (single action) and a 155 (double action) for a total of $48!

I am in the UK.I would like to have bought from a shop but they are few and far between.

I think the Badger would suit my needs. If i have to get one mail order i might even look to the US,prices in the UK are high.Do you recommend anyone in the US to order from with good prices?

XLNT where do you live?

A Iwata HP-CS Eclipse should meet your needs. It is the bottom one in this picture. The one above it is an Iwata Revolution.
