No problem, glad to help.  Occasionally those valves will get sticky and need to be cleaned out like that.  That's all it takes and they are good as new.

Took it apart and cleaned it out, and works perfectly now.

Thanks, MusicCity.Big Smile [:D]

Follow Scott's advice.  He helped me fix mine a couple of years ago and it works like new!

Just take it apart and clean it.  On the bottom, the end the hose screws onto, is a hole that an Allen wrench will fit.  Unscrew the bottom cap and there are two parts inside, a plunger with a captive o-ring and a spring.  Clean it up, put a little bit of airbrush lube on the plunger and o-ring, and it should be good as new.

Thanks for the advice. I'll try that as soon as I can get an Allen wrench. I'll let you know how I get on.

Badger 100LG problem
Posted by Spurdog on Friday, May 30, 2008 4:17 AM

My Badger 100LG has been giving me problems regarding air flow. I've noticed that I've had to increase the air pressure just to get even a modest flow through the airbrush. But yesterday it finally packed in, no air flow at all.

I've noticed that the trigger doesn't depress as much as it used to, only a tiny bit, and I removed the air valve to see if anything had stuck, but it seems all right. I can move it against its spring, but with the air hose connected up and the pressure turned on, when I press down on it with my finger a small amount if air comes through, but not as much as it should.

The problem is in the air valve assembly, but how to rectify it?Confused [%-)]
