Thanks Chris, I appreciate that.

Hey Mike V, I saw your Israeli F-16 in this month's FSM!  Nice job!

What is the right psi that I should use on my Thayer Chandler Omni 4000G ?

Try about 15 psi and go from there experimenting with what works best for you.

The higher the pressure, the better the paint atomization you get but the harder it is to control overspray and spidering, etc.

I never go below maybe 12 psi with any airbrush as I see no need.

I recommend the Badger 100G.  It's a great all-around airbrush.

thanks alot for the advice.

My pleasure. Just remember that practice is what makes the paint job not the airbrush so the word "best" when it comes to airbrushes is what you prefer, not what someone tells you is the best airbrush. Wink [;)]

That is an excellent choice.

I painted these with the Omni 4000:

What airbrush

I am fairly new to airbrushing. I used to own a Aztek A430, which I thought was terrible. I want to get back into airbrushing and my main focus will be building war aircrafts. I was thinking about purchasing a Thayer and Chandler Omni 4000 airbrush. Is that a good airbrush for what I want to do? Is there a better one in the same price range? I don't want to spend over $90. thx
