Who was the email from?

The only reason Badger is "behind" is that these retailers fail to order on time and then they want a big order right away and Badger has to work to try and keep up.

Hey guys, I was expecting to receive my Omni 4000 in the mail today but instead I received and email saying that badger is having problems and that the airbrush would not be shipped for at least 4-6 weeks. Now I am looking at the Paasche VL. Is this a good airbrush for modeling (camo, General coverage)??

Let me guess......was it Dixie Art? Whistling [:-^]

How about a Badger 100LG instead?

The T&C Omni 4000 and the Paasche VL are too completely different airbrushes.

The Omni is gravity-feed and the VL is siphon-feed and needs higher pressures to operate reliably. Either can produce great paint jobs with practice but IMHO the VL is a dinosaur and I do not like the shape or feel of them. I learned to airbrush with a VL by the way but when I bought a Vega 2000 I stopped using the VL. I then received a Vega 1000 gravity-feed from my wife for Christmas one year and then started using gravity-feed airbrushes almost exclusively for modeling.
