What is future
Posted by DavidM on Sunday, June 15, 2008 3:37 PM

I have seen a number of articles where a product called "future" is sprayed over the paint job, either for protection or for the application of decals.

This product is not available here in South Africa. Can anyone please advise me as to what it is so I can try and obtain an equivilent.

As an aside I am fast approaching 60 and am looking at resuming model making after a 30 year lay off.

Regards

David, firstly welcome to the forum.

As regards Future it is a polish for wooden floors made by SC Johnson and marketed under a number of names around the world.

In the UK it's known as Klear, but for the definitive guide try this site:

Hi Karl

Thanks for the URL. The article answers all of my questions.

From the prompt and effecient response to my queryI think I shall this enjoy forum. Pehaps in time to come I shall be able answer other member queries instead of just asking questions.
