This is caused by surface tension in your wash mix. You need to add a drop or two of dishwashing liquid to your wash mix to act as a wetting agent.

Then test on a junker or an inconspicuous part of your model before proceeding to do the whole thing.

ugh! I don't want to make the wrong move. Putting a wash over enamel paint. trying to use acrylic after putting down glosscote. No cappillary action. It beads and pools in all the wrong places. Please help!
