So its unsalvagable then?  I only ask because it seems like it something simple like the plunger on the nozle doesnt go down far enough.  Most of my rattle can problems have been fixed by simply changing the nozle head.  It's why I keep all my empties... So, do spray cans then count as Propaine accessories? (god did I just make that joke...)

Unfortunately, unless you can return the defective can you have.

Though the inner workings of an aersol can are simplistic in mechanics, they are not servicable. You're better off returning to the retailer or just tossing it in the trash to avoid a risk of being injured.

Having managed a hardware store, I can tell you stories about customers who tried to save themselves a few bucks by "repairing" the can. Most came in wearing its contents and were lucky not to have blinded themselves.

Contents under pressure are nothing to take lightly. Many of the propellants that are used to "push" the paint out are flammable as well. Many use propane...which will go BOOM under certain circumstances.

We like having you around so please, don't do something foolish...unless you feel your life is only worth $5.

I have a spray can, german silver, I was looking forward to using.  When I went to use it, nothing came out, I pushed the tip down, and nothing.  After trying a few tiems I took the tip off, and replaced it with another (I keep all my empty rattle cans), no diffrent result.

Thinking it was something wrong with the inside of the can, I pushed down the part that the nosel pushes down, and the paint sprayed out all over my glasses...  So it works, but the nozels dont work... what do you suggest I do?  I dont want to have wasted 5$
