Im going to paint a figure made out of rock for my grandfather. I was thinking about using my airbrush. Would acrylic paint stay on if the figure is kept out in the yard? Will it stand up to the rain?

You'd need to seal the rock first. Polyurathane. Depending on the acrylics used, yes. Again after the paint has cured seal with more polyurathane, something with a UV inhibitor so the paints don't fade as fast.
