Painting the Bradley Tank
Posted by aj2wins on Tuesday, June 24, 2008 7:43 PM

I have the 1/35 Bradley Tank. Iam going to paint the model Nato Green

and my question is. Iam concerned if I paint the model with a base coat of

flat black it might make the Nato Green to dark. Any suggestions on the base

coat so not to have the Nato Green to dark?  The other colors will be Brown and Black.

Having black underneath shouldn't really be a problem. It should only show through where you want it to show through. I've painted a sandy/dark yellow top coat over a dark grey base without any problems.

If you're painting 3-colour NATO cam, here's a couple of diagrams that may help with the pattern.

PS: Not being picky but the Bradley isn't a tank - it's an Infantry Fighting Vehicle (M2 series) or a Cavalry Fighting Vehicle (M3 series) Big Smile [:D]

Thank you for the info on the vehicle. Iam new at this tank vehicle

thing. I have been building planes for a long time. I'll get it straight

one day.
