Mr Hobby v. Mr Hobby...What's the Difference?
Posted by cml on Friday, July 18, 2008 2:14 AM

G'day,

I've just seen at a local hobby store two types of Mr Hobby Thinner, they are:

- Mr Hobby Gunze Sangyo Thinner 110 (light blue label); and

- Mr Hobby Mr Color Thinner 110 (dark blue label).

Can anybody tell me what is the difference??

(PS, i use the former with GS Paints with great results, but am curious anyhow).

The "110" part of the name is the size of the bottle - 110 ml/

As I understand it, "Mr Hobby" thinner is for Gunze acrylics and "Mr Color" thinner is for the Mr Color (lacquer based) range.
