Like you my first thought was the big diesel engine manufacturer.

A Google search brought up the following

It looks like another of those made-in-China clone of the Badger 150. Usually, the clone works fine when new, but won't last long after a few disassembling and cleaning.

You may try using real Badger parts for it. Michaels Hobby carries some Badger parts and prices are good if you use their 50% off coupon. You may also try the clone airbrush parts sold by Harbor Freight (mail order only, not at retail stores).

Hey guys, thanks for the great replys and info.   We'll see how it plays out, might talk him into trying a badger fine tip and needle.  Works fine now though. and for five bucks........
