ALPS printer problem
Posted by qmiester on Saturday, November 22, 2003 10:25 PM
I have an ALPS MD1000 printer which was given to me a while back. I had hoped to print my own decals but printer has a problem. Seems that if you try to run a sheet of paper (any kind) through it, the paper gets cocked and won't feed straight. I have been told that there are two belts that operate the feeding mechanism and apparently one of them has stretched.
My problem is this, I have tried to find someone who can supply me with a new belt (preferably two, as long as I have it apart, might as well replace both) without any luck. Been back and forth on the web with no luck. Does anyone out there know of a good parts supplier for ALPS printers. Thanks
