How to fix Decal Shattering with Future?

I know this has been posted before, but I was hoping there was a way to fix them without having to buy a special clear decal film liquid. I've heard Future being mentioned, any thoughts on this? I also have a can of Testors clear gloss coat and flat coat spray. Any advice on this would be helpful because Most of my decals have shattered and I don't want the big, major ones to be ruined too as the kit is the Panda 1/35 huey which i think is out of production, and anyhow I don't want to buy a new decal sheet if i don't have too.
