Applying Mike Grant IP Decals
Posted by Chester87 on Saturday, April 25, 2009 11:38 PM

I'm attempting to use Mike Grant instrument panel decals for the first time. I punched out the selected gauge with a punch and die set but was wondering how to hold the decal while submerging it in water and positioning it without destroying or damaging it. I did overcoat the sheet with Future as per the directions. Any suggestions on this or application tips in general would be greatly appreciated. Thanks guys.

I used Mike Grant rivets decals on my last build. I was impressed with how much poking and prodding they took to get lined up after placement. That was without any pre-coating. A nice pair of needle nose tweezers work great for small decals. Work slow and from the inside out.
