Drying time????
Posted by Pvt Mutt on Tuesday, April 28, 2009 10:08 AM

I just applied the decals on my model and was just wondering just how long does it take for them to dry out??? I seal with Future but it's always been the next day before I sealed them,it has just worked out that way.

Thanks

PS: Thanks but never mind I read several post and found 45minutes to 72hrs.Confused [%-)]

Never, Never, Never, Never, try to clearcoat the same day you decal. After you wipe the excess decal setting solution let the decals sit and dry. Rule of thumb is 1 day of dry time before overcoat. Give the model a wipe down with a clean, lint free rag that is moistened a bit to clean the surface. Now your ready to overcoat.

John

Just to make sure John B made his point: NEVER!

Unless you want to wreck it, of course.

So long folks!
