dry transfer oops and help
Posted by Sian on Friday, June 5, 2009 4:28 AM

Well, like a dummy I was working in the dark, using cellophane tape to line up and position dry-transfer decals, and I got one upside-down and transferred it right onto the tape.

I actually got it from one piece of tape to the other, so it's right-side up now, but it won't come off the second tape.

Is there any way to save this or am I boned?

You're pretty much boned. Anything you use to loosen the tapes hold on the DT wil probably destroy the DT. You might try freezing it to see if you can get it off...this is the only thing that comes to mind. Once frozen the tapes adhesion might let go. Worth a try.
