SoapBox [soapbox] oi, these things are the pits. They are thin, brittle, translucent and
difficult to work with, besides easily scratch while on the sheetCensored [censored]Angry [:(!]

On a bright spot, I did discover that a coat of Microscale decal solution helps thier workability and protects the graphics while cutting them out of the sheet.Big Smile [:D]

Another problem is that their lozgene colors and patterns don't match any thing I've ever seen before. And give you the same colors for top and bottom. Thank heavens for after-market products.

Thier new 1/48 D. VII is a sweet little kit. 3 seperate sheets of decals - see my first post - and from what I can tell by finding stuff on the net , they've corrected the lozgene colors.

But you are correct, they should be replaced with aftermarket ones

FWIW, I just got the 1/72 Fokker D.VII early Albatros build. It has two colors of lozenge and different colored rib tapes.
