What you are trying to do is way beyond a simple explaination.  If you have a bitmap picture such as a .jpg you have to trace the objects you want with the various drawing tools.

If you want to you can try Power Trace if you have Draw X3 or above.

If you just want to isolate the objects from the background you would be better off to use Photo Paint.  You can remove the background with it but it is also to involved to try to explain here.

The best thing to do is to Google for tutorials on Corel Draw and Photo Paint.

Coral Draw Help

I am trying to make decals of a police car. I am using a digital picture of the side of the car showing the graphics. The problem is I am trying to isolate the graphics from the body of the car so that all I have are the graphics from the photo for my decals( or a totally white backgroud with the graphics on the foreground). I tried using the smart fill tool and it is not working for me for whatever reason. I can't find a tutorial on this anywhere. I sure hope someone here comes to the rescue. Thank you in advance.
