Future ruined my decals

I have also noticed that the sol can lighten the paint it comes into contact with, im not sure if this is permanent or not (still completing my first model).  This was with vallejo game colour paint and tamiya gloss varnish.

I have also noticed that Sol lightens the paintwork it comes into contact with. I use Tamiya Acrylic overcoated with future before putting decals down & every time I use Sol the surface it comes into contact with lightens. I assume it has something to do with the surface absorbing the Sol slightly - but leave it for a few hours / overnight & it will return to normal.

Cant answer on the Future though, I suppose some decals must be more prone to this than others. In my limited number of builds using Future this has not happened.

Future is just an acrylic coating, and has no chemicals that would react with decals.

Solvaset, however, is a chemical designed to soften decals, so of the two I pick Solvaset as the problem here. I've never used Solvaset, so I have no idea what it's made of, but I have used MicroSol and it has caused Future to go white. That is due to MicroSol being a mild acid (acetic acid AKA Vinegar), and it reacts with Future as it is a solvent.

Sounds like 24 hours isn't long enough to allow the Solvaset to evaporate off.
