fermis decals can be made a number of ways ,you may find those ,in a suitable font, in dry transfer ,the decal system from testors worked for me for some smaller lettering .I researched and used a font I had to make the 120mm b-17 pilot vest and para chute markings( i saw yours ,mine is in the current readers gallery) also I did the harness ticking. If you dont have a printer see about getting a cheap one.i got one for $200 that I used.I also have a 20k printer for my sign work but it would be useless for model stuff. If youneed custom printed I could help with that.

Thank you ,Krow113

If you can get that picture scanned into a computer, you can then use a program like photoshop (or similiar) to isolate just he part that you want and save it. You can then print it out on white ink jet decal paper on a ink jet yourself. The image looks like its pretty much a rectangle, you can even use microsoft paint that comes with windows to extract out the image.

Or you can print it out on regular paper, buy some white laser decal paper, and go to staples or kinkos and have photocopy it with a color copier onto the ink jet paper.

Making decal??

Can a decal be made, directly from a photo?

I do not have the means with which to make any myself. Willing to fork over a few $$$ if someone can do it.

I'm building a 46 for my best friend(CPL Fox, crew chief) and I don't think, KNOW, that I can't pull it off with paint. I want just the piece of "nose" art.

the lettering/names would be nice too. Anyway, he has the panel in his house and I can get a better, more "straight on" pic of it from him, if this can be done. I can also give the final measurements of what the decal would need to be.

 Thanks
