Got ya! Well as the war progressed, Sherman markings got more and more bland and minimal. Bumper Codes, Serial Numbers, and Air Recognition stars on the Engine deck and/or the turret top being the standard in the ETO after the initial fighting in Normandy. If you get some basic numbers in white and a set of stars you can make most tanks. Individual names were based on the Company letter as a general rule. Some US Armored divisions, such as 2nd, 3rd, and 9th Armored routinely camoflage painted their tanks from Mid Summer 1944 on. 1st Armored Division Shermans in Italy also can often be found in camo pattern paints.

The ones I saw were at Sprue Bros. site for $15.  I was looking for ETO decals and the ones at your link appear to only be for the PTO.

As for the price, yes, they are cheaper than the current price of a Sherman, however I got mine for $10 each, so $15 is a bit steep for me as these are are "practice" models for getting back into the hobby.  Made a few mistakes on them so far...but learning.

Thanks

Where are you finding those Bison decals? I picked up mine for about $15 a set. Less than the cost of a single 1/35 Sherman, let alone two.

The M4A1 set list for $9 here

I picked up two kits fairly cheap to practice modeling, however, both kits decals were no good.  I tried searching and only found one set by Bison Decals that might be usable.  They would cost me more than the kits though.

Can anyone recommend some other online sites to purchase these decals for these tanks?

Thanks,
