Converting Decals On a Copier

Several years back FineScale ran an article on how to convert decals to different scales on a copier. For example, to convert 1/48 scale to 1/32 enlarge by ??% on the copier. Does anyone recall which issue this was? I still have all of my magazines but I've been keeping them since 1988 and have no idea which one it is in.
