All of the decals had a white backing.

Some decals have a white undercoat to make the darker colors more opaque.  What color is the back side of the decal when it comes loose from the backing sheet?

Thanks for the replys.  The strange thing was hat wherever the microsol spread on the model, it left the film.  The future had cured well over 24 hours.  And, it only happened on 3 decals.  I had applied about 15 others with no problems.  ???

I might try a thin coat of future to see if it works.  If not, it will not be hard to remove.

You can sometimes get a white haze if your Future coat has not fully cured before applying the decals and setting solution. Often, applying another coat of Future over this will fix the hazing.

I ran into something very similar recently.  Laid down a coat of Future and let it set (maybe not long enough).  I then used decal set and sol for the decals.  Some went on great, others developed a milky film.  I tried to use isopropyl alcohol to remove it and it appeared to be the decal film.  But tried to remove it ruined the paint job.

My theory is that I didn't let the decal soak long enough before applying them, leaving too much for the decal sol to handle.

I was applying the last few decals to my 1/48 Accurate Miniatres B-25 when this milky white substance appeared and would not come off.

None of the other decals were affected, only the last 3.  Same brush was used, nothing different than the others.  All were applied over 3 coats of future applied with a brush.  I cannot get this milky white to rub off and it has ruined the OD paint job.

Any ideas?
