If you are going to thin future i would suggest using windex. Windex will not craze canopy plastic.

I don't think the alcohol would do anything, it should evaporate before doing any damage. I guess I'd have to ask why you're cutting the Future? It airbrushes well right out of the bottle, and will self-level on its own. (I think the alcohol could actually speed this up & may not level as well.)

Will this ruin the transparent canopies

Hello everyone.

I have finished putting together my Heinkel He 111.

I want to put on a layer of Future Floor Polish which I have mixed with Rubbing Alcohol about a 50-50 ratio before I put on the Decals.

My Question is, Will this Cocktail of Rubbing alcohol and Future ruin the canopies located all over the model. Or will it just fade away after applying it.

Maybe it would be better just to use the Future alone.

Please let me know

Thank you,

Scott
