I'm not a civi man myself, but I have heard quite a few people mention that the font "UK Number Plate" is a very good match, you can download it from one of the font sites like dafont;

Thanks- that is very close. I will download it.  I can probably modify any letters that need to be modified.

If it's not to your liking I'm sure some bookworming on FAA regulations would give you the actual font.

Registration number font?

I like to make my own decals, but don't have the right font for civil aircraft registration numbers. It is the same, or very similar to that used on military numbers and the "USAF" on the wings.

Anyone know what that font is, and where I can get it?
