where to purchase? decals

Thanks for all the help i found a set on camdecals its called a data set  this set gives you all the marine  insignias and every other  decal which is needed. any one  need a set in German? thanks again

Here it is.  I havnt done anything with them yet but i will be very soon!!!  I typically use www.plastic-models.com but after finding this site http://www.scalehobbyist.com/ i will be switching, the prices are much better.

Thanks!  I totally forgot about squadron as well lol!!!  I typically do all my purchase through Plastic-models.com but i have been doing some price comparison's on a couple of kits i want to purchase in the future and have found the best deals of all on scalehobbiest.com.  But have allmost been tempted to purchase stuff off squadron and spruebrothers but have not yet.  Trying to save money right now!!! lol!!!

 

I've been doing almost all my stuff through SprueBros lately. They have everything that I'm looking for most of the time. I just don't like Squadron's search function.

I  recently purchased the Revell  50th anniversary F4 Phantom kit with the intention of painting it in a Vietnam  era paint scheme i got a nice set of squadron decals ( tail markings) from cam decals but all of the other misc.  decals that are needed are not easily found such as the star insignia the caution emblem  near the engine intake  the marine  lettering .  plus   all of the decals for this kit are in German  .

I may be wrong, but I suspect that (given the details you have provided) you have purchased this kit.. http://www.revell.com/germany/aircraft/80-4685.html

If this is the case, it will be difficult to make a Vietnam era US aircraft from this particular kit. It may be possible to make something resembling a Vietnam era USAF F-4E from this kit, but not a Navy/Marines bird.

You could also try Squadron. What are you looking for exactly for the F-4? And what version of the F-4 is it?

you could check out spruebrothers, or scalehobbiest.com.  Spruebrothers has alot of after market stuff.
