They were easy to find in the Reagan years, but after the Gulf War, other F-15 markings took front and center stage. That was my preffered F-15 markings back then as they were on the "front line" against the Warsaw Pact as opposed to being Stateside units.

Thanks for the tips stikpusher; i'm going to check my LHS as they have some old decal sheets for sale so may have luck there. Otherwise i'll do it the hard way; making them on my computer. All the jets I worked on had the Eagle on the inboard vertical stab but I think i can paint it with a stencil. Still can't figure out why Bit tail codes are so hard to find but...oh well.  Anyway, thanks again!

The early microscale/superscale F-15A sheet included the Bitburg tailcodes and squadron badges, but you might be better off just getting some generic black letters and numbers of the correct type. I dont know where you can find the eagle markings worn on the inner face of the vertical stabilizers that photos show on some 36th TFW.

Repliscale sheet 5061 has what you need, but is long OOP.

I'm trying to locate some Bitburg AB decals in 1/48 scale but have thus far been unsuccessful. I was based there in the 1980's and would like very much to replicate one of our Eagles. Anyone have any suggestions or help locating them I would really appreciate it!
