Help fiinding 1/72 P-38 decals

Are these the Tally Ho ones you mean.

Hannants has 11 but they are Limited Availability. Might be worth a search where you are.

I have been searching all day long, but havent found the ones I want.

Those are #72037 but I am looking for 72049. I searched that site, and they dont have them available either.

Its also not so secial that I have the Tally Ho decals. I am looking for European birds with the OD paint scheme, and perhaps with INVASION STRIPES>

Just seems to hard to find in 1/72,, or maybe i am just looking in the wrong places.

P-38 decals do seem a bit rare. I recall a couple of guys had problems finding markings for the Mighty 8th GB i hosted. I see Hannants only has 12 sets. But did you see the Superscale set, 72867. That has one OD P-38, though it doesn't have invasion stripes. I think its the only one that seems to come close to what you are after.

That is definately something I can work with.

Of course, there is always the decals that came in the box as a fall back.

I am not sure how easy Superscale decals are to get hold of where you are (i assume the USA) I thought they had gone out of buisness until recently. But there is a site in the US that has them.
