Thanks for the info. As far as the planes, I'm actually looking for both Blue Angels and Thunderbirds. I just mentioned F-4 and F-16 since those kits with the correct decals are readily available. Thanks again for the info. I'll give them a look right now

I think you mean F-18. F-16 is airforce, Blue angels are navy.

Hannants has most of them, including the T-33's and Fat Albert.

Also saw F8F ones in there, although they come as part of a pack with other  squadrons.

Demonstration aircraft
  1. Grumman F6F-5 Hellcat – June–August 1946
  2. Grumman F8F-1 Bearcat – August 1946–1949
  3. Grumman F9F-2 Panther – 1949 – June 1950 (first jet);
  4. Grumman F9F-5 Panther – 1951-Winter 1954/55
  5. Grumman F9F-8 Cougar – Winter 1954/55-mid-season 1957 (swept-wing)
  6. Grumman F11F-1 Tiger – mid-season 1957–1969 (first supersonic jet)
  7. McDonnell Douglas F-4J Phantom II – 1969 – December 1974
  8. A-4F Skyhawk – December 1974 – November 1986
  9. McDonnell Douglas (now Boeing) F/A-18A-D Hornet – November 1986 – present.

I'm wanting to start a collection of all the aircraft that the blue angels and the thunderbirds have used in their history. I've looked on squadron, roll models etc. and don't seem to be able to find decals for the earlier aircraft, (F8F Bearcat, F9F Panther etc). I'm sure it's going to be easy to find the F-4's, F-16's that come with the correct decals in the box. My question is where can I find decals for the early aircraft of the teams, or would it be easier to just find the kits with the correct decals already in the box.
