Double Checking
Posted by Arespontus on Sunday, April 8, 2012 4:17 PM

I am decaling a 1:72 Revell Warthog

First I put down a layer of Future Floor Polish and then I started applying the decals

Once I have put the decals down I am going to put another layer of Future on it to seal in the decals

What I want to do after that is apply Tamiya TS-80 Flat clear spray to get rid of the shiny Future coat.

Does this make sense or do I need another product other than the TS-80.

Please let me know.

I think TS80 is lacquer so if you use that your best bet is to wait at least a couple of days for the Future to cure. Otherwise use flat acrylic clear.
