Thin stripes and letters decals

Dark colors are easy to do on an inkjet printer. I make the boot topping for all my ships that require it by making inkjet decals.  Black straight lines are the easiest home-made decals to do.

Try Microscale Decals.  They make generic stripe and letter decals in their line of model railroad decals.

Gold Medal Models also makes generic ship decals in various scales.
