Scale Model Number Plate Creator
Posted by minimattapps on Thursday, August 2, 2012 5:15 AM

Hi Guys,

I am new to this forum but dont let that concern you :D

I have created some software that allows people like you to easily create custom number plates for your scale models.

I won't go on and on so here is the ebay link

http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/320955635931?ssPageName=STRK:MESELX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1558.l2649#ht_1188wt_1271

Thanks Matt

After looking on eBay I am still not sure what this software does.  Does it create a miniature (in scale) version of the mfgs ID plates?

I often find photos of these in reference books on many subjects, and rescale them with photo editing software.

1 post from someone who has exactly 1 post in the forums, Isn't this is advertising?

Since you need a computer to use this, this shouldn't be beyond the ability of anyone to knock up themselves, (hint, print one copy on white & 1 on yellow paper for UK numberplates....)

Yes, it creates your own custom miniature number plates.

Interesting, because the RTA website checks the plate number is available before it lets you create it.

For USA plates, acme license maker does the same thing, for free

http://www.acme.com/licensemaker/

For European plates, there's a number of plate sellers that have a 'create your plate' feature on their site, which i used.
