Thanks for the update Rob, I was curious myself. I think I'll give it a go on my F4U Cockpit this weekend...I like the idea of not inhaling the fumes, or getting the fumes in my eyes!!!

DAMN i love using Future. first ime using it on my 1/24 CLK DTM kit currently in progress. using it with the PE parts is great. brush a small amount on, place your PE, adjust as needed, then additional coats of Future as desired later.

That system woks with decals pretty well, I don't see why not. Just make sure that the coats aren't too thick, otherwise it'll look like it's coated in ice. :-)

Give it a shot and let us know how it turns out.

use Future to apply PE parts?

i've built quite a few models in my past but am just getting back into it with some new kits with 'grade-up kits'. I have the Tamiya Enzo kit, and just received the Studio 27 PE kit. i can't beleive how small some of the pieces are. i can't imagine using glue on the 'pininfarina' badge for instance. would 'Future' work better for such small pieces that will be very visible on the outside of the body? maybe place the PE logo while the future is wet, then with the additional one or two coats it would be sealed in. This will be my first experience with PE Parts and Future.
