Bronco M1114 decal problems
Posted by jeffpez on Sunday, September 8, 2013 6:08 AM

I've encountered three decal problems with this kit. The decals are very reluctant to release from the backing paper and when they do are prone to breaking. Next they also break when they are put into place. I had one snap in two when placed on a perfectly flat surface. Lastly they don't seem to have enough adhesive and even after drying overnight I had two come off. I'm trying to seal the ones that are still in place with some Future and will then try putting the ones that fell off back on but was wondering if anyone had any thoughts or suggestions.

For decals that break up when you put them in water, a fix is to brush them with a decal film.  There are several brands. I use Micro Scale's stuff and really like it.  You do have to cut each individual decal out if you use it, as it makes the whole sheet into one decal.
