I've painted a 1/35 Tamiya Jagdpanzer and want to apply decals. Tamiya provided individual decal numbers. What would be a good way to align them (e.g., 0, 1 & 1 to make 011)? I know that I'd screw up without some kind of aid.
Iwata HP-CS | Iwata HP-CR | Iwata HP-M2 | H&S Evolution | Iwata Smart Jet + Sparmax Tank
Tape underneath to form an edge, but don't sweat it too much,if you look at pictures they were not always perfectly aligned
And no large quantities of caffeine or alcoholic beverages before the decal session... keep a steady eye and hand ;-)
F is for FIRE, That burns down the whole town!
U is for URANIUM... BOMBS!
N is for NO SURVIVORS...

I did manage to align 2 sets of 3 numbers using Tamiya masking tape. I needed every ounce of my mental energy to do so. Well, I just ordered several Archer dry transfer decals. Hopefully, they will make my life easier.
Tape is a great suggestion, I never thought of that. (Add that to the notebook.)
Also, I've been known to use panel lines.
On the bench: Tamyia Mosquito Mk. VI for the '44 group build. Yes, still.

I just finished an AFV Valentine kit and found out when I tried to transfer the really small vehicle ID's that each of the 8 characters is an individual item. After the second mess up I've given up on those decals. Not enough eyesight or patience. Need to get Santa to get me a decal maker.
