Decal Paper Recommendations
Posted by Wolfman_63 on Monday, March 6, 2017 4:17 AM

I have to print many small decals for numerous 1/350 scale aircraft.

I have MicroMark paper and Testors paper. (both clear and white) While these work great, Cutting very small decals is difficult due to the backing being thick.

Does anyone know of a brand of decal paper where the backing paper is thin or ultra thin?

Similar to decal paper/film used by decal manufacturers.

Thanks in advance!

I use the paper from micromark.  Often I will cut out the decal first as a rough cut with scissors, then do a closer cut with a fresh X-acto blade. You do not need to cut clear through the paper on this final cut, only through the thin decal film.  Allows better trimming of the decal.
