Hello!

I'd say wait a few more days, and then overcoat - you would overcoat them anyway. I'm just not sure if the future would do the trick here - it might be that it would be better to use some enamel type or acrylic overcoat - but only an experiment can answer that. So good luck with it and have a nice day

Sticky Decals?
Posted by Beckyhead on Thursday, June 29, 2017 7:05 PM

Hi,

I just completed a 1/72 scale, well almost completed, Mercury-Redstone (Horizon Hobbies). I applied the decals using the Micro-Sol and Set solutions, as usual, but I've run into something that doesn't seem normal. It's been 24 hours since I've applied the decals, they settled down perfectly...but they feel kind of tack/sticky, and the slightest pressure will cause the decal the break apart. Any suggestions on how I can fix this problem? Would a coat of Future help?
